# Certific Health

> A patient–clinic e-consultation platform used by primary care clinics in the European Union.
> Patients send a written health enquiry (an "e-contact") to a clinic they are registered with,
> and a doctor or nurse from that clinic replies. It is not a walk-in or on-demand doctor
> service: a patient can only contact a clinic that uses the platform.

Certific Health is operated by Certific, based in Estonia. The same platform is offered under a
different brand per country:

- e-Ārsts (earsts.lv) — clinic e-contacts in Latvia
- mojakonsultacja.pl — clinic e-contacts in Poland
- e-OrvosiRendelo.hu (eorvosirendelo.hu) — family doctor e-contacts in Hungary
- Emo24 (emo24.ee) — emergency department intake in Estonia

Interface languages: Estonian, English, Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Latvian.

## How patients use it

- A patient signs in with a national eID (or, where enabled, email and password) and submits an
  e-contact to their own clinic.
- E-contacts can be submitted at any hour, but clinics answer during their opening hours. The
  platform is not for emergencies.
- Typical requests include prescription renewals, test results, referrals and certificates,
  advice on a health concern, and follow-up on an existing treatment.
- Emo24 works differently: it is used inside a hospital emergency department, and a patient can
  only reach it through a personal link or QR code handed to them by staff there.

## Compliance

- GDPR compliant; ISO 27001 certified information security management.
- Perearst24 meets the Estonian Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa) requirements for a digital
  service platform.
